Job summary
A procurement company in Kajang is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source and negotiate with suppliers, manage purchasing processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain, along with 3 years of purchasing experience and proficiency in Mandarin. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, are essential for the role.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing operations preferred.
- Mandarin proficiency (written/spoken) is essential for liaising with China/Taiwan based suppliers.
- Strong analytical, communication skills & attention to details.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for the best pricing.
- Manage purchasing processes from order creation to customs clearance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for procurement requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain and update purchase database and supplier records.
