Job summary
A prominent insurance firm located in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks an experienced insurance professional to manage and expand client portfolios. Responsibilities include developing new insurance schemes, leading client acquisition efforts, and fostering relationships with insurers. Candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience and possess specific insurance qualifications. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 – 8 years working experience in the insurance industry, preferably in insurance broking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and strong computer skills.
- Candidate must possess specific insurance qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Service and grow insurance client portfolios through developing new schemes.
- Lead client acquisition by sourcing competitive insurance products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurers.
Skills
Education
Responsible to service and grow the portfolio of insurance clients by developing new insurance schemes or business.
Lead the client acquisition process by sourcing for competitive insurance products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers in respect of insurance related matters.
Coordinate with the internal claims department to ensure all claims are settled promptly.
Achieve and exceed sales targets.
Any other duties as and when assigned from the Management.
- Candidate must possess any of the following or equivalent insurance qualifications (e.g. PCEIA/ FCII/ CPCU/ AII/ etc.)
- Minimum 5 – 8 years working experience in the insurance industry; candidates with working experience in insurance broking houses will be prioritised.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Possess own transport.
