A packaging solutions provider in Port Klang is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive. The role involves overseeing quality activities, monitoring non-conformance, assisting audits, and leading root cause analyses. Candidates should have a diploma in a relevant field, at least one year of QA experience, and proficiency in MS Office software. Language skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are an advantage. The position is based in Telok Gong, Port Klang, with Monday to Friday working hours.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in Engineering, Environment or Health and Safety field.
• Candidates must have at least 1 year of related experience as QA Lab Engineer.
• Proficient in computer software (MS Office, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint).
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee products, customer and compliances quality activities at all plants.
• Monitor and control non-conformance output. Compile the reject report.
• Assist internal audits and management reviews.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues.
• Prepare reports on all quality issues arising internally or from customer complaints.

Quality Assurance Executive (Telok Gong)

The company is a total packaging solutions provider in Malaysia. The company’s products include Corrugated Packaging Product, Protective Packaging Products, Paper Pallets, Plastic Packaging Products, Foam-Based Packaging Products, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee products, customer and compliances quality activities at all plants
• Monitor and control non-conformance output. Compile the reject report.
• Monitor sorting and rework activities
• Check on customer rejected and returned goods
• Assist as one or more competent person (Hazardous Chemical & Schedule Waste Management and/or Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator)
• Handling ESH related Testing Management (water discharge test, boundary noise test, etc.)
• Assist on data collection for Management System analysis (Aspect & Impact and Risk & Opportunity Assessment)
• Assist internal audits and management reviews. Second coordinator on external audits.
• Second coordinator for customer visits, meetings, gemba or audit related with products quality or company compliances.
• Alert on quality issues associated from suppliers or products, report to HOD and coordinate immediate action to be taken. Lead root cause analysis for the issue and suggest countermeasures.
• Prepare report on all quality issue arise internally or from customer complaint
• Checker on operational reports and report any suspected possible risk.
• Verify and approve COA.
• Assist for department internal task (get quotation, issue PR, stationary request form, etc.)

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in Engineering, Environment or Health and Safety field.
• Candidates must possess at least 1 year of related experience as QA Lab Engineer.
• Proficient in computer software (MS Office, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage).
• Willing to work in Telok Gong, Port Klang.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm.
