Job summary
A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Logistic Executive to handle export shipping documents and manage customs declarations. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in an LMW manufacturing environment and familiarity with Malaysia's import/export processes. Responsibilities include preparing marine insurance reports and ensuring proper filing of export documents. Candidates should possess a diploma or higher. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of working experience in LMW manufacturing company.
- Familiar with Malaysia import and export declaration (K1 & K2 form).
Responsibilities
- Prepare export shipping documents including invoices and delivery orders.
- Match and file customer endorsed Delivery Orders with invoices for proper filing.
- Apply for customs import tax exemptions and perform monthly data entry.
Skills
Education
At least 3 years of working experience in LMW manufacturing company.
Familiar with Malaysia import and export declaration (K1 & K2 form).
Education: Diploma or above.
- Prepare export shipping documents, including invoices, delivery orders, K2 export permits, and Singapore import permits.
- Prepare marine insurance report, scrap report, generate invoices, delivery orders, and recycling programme (trend chart), and liaise with scrap vendor for scrap collection.
- Match and file customer endorsed Delivery Order with invoices and K2 form and SG Permit to ensure proper filing.
- Prepare import document (declare K1 for Singapore export permit), check and file the complete document.
- Apply for customs import tax exemptions and perform monthly LMW licence report data entry.
- Issue PO and follow‑up delivery for Automotive resin and indirect material.
- Source indirect items, ensure three competitive quotes for cost comparison. Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery terms, and consolidate bulk purchases.
- Prepare operating supplies report and ACE report on time.
- Verify GRN issue, clean up SAP unwanted PO and PR.
- Maintain AVL, MSDS, TDS, RoHS, and conflict mineral declaration. Ensure all purchases comply with IATF and ISO standards.
