Our client is a leading global, integrated design-build firm specializing in the delivery of complex capital projects for the industrial, manufacturing and advanced technology sectors.

• Lead Electrical Design: Take ownership of the electrical design from conceptual and detailed design phases through to construction support.
• System Design: Design and specify key electrical systems, including medium and low-voltage power distribution, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), emergency power (generators/UPS), lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Technical Calculations: Perform and review complex calculations, including load analysis, short circuit, arc flash (using ETAP, SKM, or similar software), and voltage drop.
• Documentation: Prepare and review comprehensive design documentation, including single-line diagrams, schematics, equipment layouts, cable schedules, and technical specifications.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local (e.g., Singapore Standards, Australian Standards) and international (IEC, BS) codes and standards.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with mechanical, process, architectural, and structural engineers, as well as construction and project management teams, to deliver a fully integrated design.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers and designers.

skills/requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
• Min 5 years in electrical design, with a significant focus on industrial, manufacturing, or complex commercial facilities.
• Strong technical proficiency in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Demonstrated experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and electrical design/analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, DIALux/AGi32).
• Deep understanding of IEC standards and/or relevant national codes within the APAC region.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
