Company Secretary Assistant (Junior / Semi‑Senior / Senior)

About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join the team at McMillan Corporate House Sdn Bhd as a Company Secretary Assistant. We are seeking a talented and driven individual to take on this full‑time position in our Selangor office. As a Company Secretary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management and operations of the company, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

What you'll be doing
  • Assisting the Company Secretary in all secretarial duties, including preparing and maintaining company records, filing statutory returns, and coordinating board and shareholder meetings.
  • Providing administrative support to the management team, such as drafting correspondence, managing schedules, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Providing guidance and support to the management team on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, legal advisors, and government agencies.
  • Continuously improving processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 1‑3 years (Junior), 3‑5 years (Semi‑Senior), or 5+ years (Senior) of experience in a similar role within the corporate secretarial field.
  • Strong understanding of corporate laws, regulations, and best practices related to company secretarial duties.
