Job summary

A modern insurance firm located in Johor Bahru is seeking an Accounts Executive. The role involves managing a full set of accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, possess a Diploma or professional qualification, and be self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills. Job Description
  • Able to handle full set of accounts including AR, AP & GL
  • Provision of accurate and timely periodic and monthly financial reports and statements
  • To reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Prepare required schedules/report for yearly audit and tax purpose
  • Assist to manage the day‑to‑day finance and accounting functions of the Company and its subsidiaries
  • Assist to manage Intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
  • Preparing of GST reports for quarterly submission
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
  • To assure adherence to the Company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with related statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, lawyers and any other authorities as and when required
  • Any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Possess at least Diploma / Professional qualification in accounting
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in similar fields.
  • Candidate must be a hands‑on person and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Self‑motivated good interpersonal and possess initiative.
  • Independent and able to work in a team as well
