Job summary
A leading tax consultancy firm in Malaysia is seeking a qualified tax advisor to provide tax compliance advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields, with strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus. Responsibilities include preparing tax computations, liaising with clients and government agencies, and conducting research on tax matters. - Preparation of income tax computation and returns.
- Conduct research and consult on various tax matters.
Skills
Education
- Possess minimum a Bachelor Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting/Economics/Tax/Finance or any Professional Qualification such as CPA/ACCA/MIA/MICPA/CTIM.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse and write in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
- Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
- A strong team player and willing to share responsibilities as a team.
- Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Provide tax compliance advisory services in respect of direct and indirect tax related matters for clients in various industries.
- Preparation of income tax computation and income tax returns.
- Compliance and reporting, tax management, and risk & control assessment.
- Conduct research and consult with team members on various tax matters.
- Work closely with clients and liaise with various government agencies such as Inland Revenue Board, Ministry of Finance and other government agencies.
- Any other ad hoc matters where necessary.
