Job summary

A leading tech firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks a SAP FICO Specialist to review and analyze incidents for customer-focused service delivery. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of SAP FICO experience, hands-on configuration skills, and knowledge in integration with logistics. Candidates must be able to work night shifts to support Canada, from 11:30 PM to 9 AM, Monday to Friday. This position involves coordination of application changes and ensuring quality support aligned with business needs.

Job description

Review information, incidents, problems and analysis collected and escalated by the SAP Help Desk team.

Perform additional analysis of incidents and problems. Resolve the incidents and problems.

Provide customer focus by ensuring that SAP FICO Applications Management services are delivered to meet customer business needs and expectations.

Seek opportunities, develop and maintain knowledge of business processes, and SAP FICO functionality and configuration. Receptive to performance and developmental feedback.

Evaluate application change requests for fixes and enhancements. Coordinate development of approved SAP FICO enhancement requests and application fixes with the SAP Technical Analyst team.

Ensure the integrity of the regional application system and new business practices, processes and enhancements are understood by the SAP Applications Management team.

Assist and support SAP Applications Management Team Lead in planning, coordinating, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of enhancements.

Review project deliverables and ensure that the project develops sufficient documentation to sustain future support, maintenance and enhancements.

Support the Transition Manager in ensuring that all functional and technical knowledge is captured. Identify and manage gaps in the Regional design.

Deliver application support, enhancement and developments within agreed SLA and budget.

Job Requirements:

Candidateshould havea Degree/Diploma in IT/Computer Science, Business, Finance/Accountingor in any discipline from recognized Universities.

Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO working experience and hands on configuration in the related field is required for this position.

Minimum 4 full SAP implementation and rollout cycles in SAP FICO areas.

Hands configuration in IMG for FI-GL, AP, AR, Asset, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Order, Profitability Analysis (COPA) and Product costing (COPC). Knowledge in other modules will be added advantage.

Analytical and possess strong Finance/costing process knowledge.

Strong integration knowledge with logistic (PP, SD, MM, PM) and other modules e.g. .HR is essential.

Excellent in both spoken and written English.

This role requires working permanent night shifts to support Canada region, working hours from 11:30 PM to 9 AM, Monday to Friday.
