Job summary
A trading company in Indonesia is seeking a Sales & Marketing Staff for the steel sector. The role involves conducting market research and developing customer relationships while negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery. Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor Degree from a reputable Public University and 3-5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in English and strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel is essential for the position.
Qualifications
- At least 3 - 5 years working experience in the steel industry or related field.
- Experience in steel market and sales with relevant customer resources preferred.
- Willing to travel domestically or internationally.

- Conduct market research and analyze market demand and competition.
- Use multiple channels to develop the market and maintain customer relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Coordinate with internal departments to solve order execution problems.

Conduct market research, analyze the market demand, competition situation and policies and regulations of Indonesian steel, and find potential customers and business opportunities.
Use multiple channels to develop the market, such as participating in industry exhibitions, online promotion, business negotiations, etc., to establish and maintain customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Be familiar with the specifications, performance, quality standards, etc. of the company's steel products, and provide professional product recommendations and solutions according to customer needs.
Conduct business negotiations with customers, determine contract terms such as price, delivery date, payment method, sign sales contracts, and follow up on the execution of contracts to ensure on-time, quality and quantity delivery.
Coordinate the company's internal procurement, logistics, quality inspection and other departments to solve problems in the order execution process and ensure that customers receive the goods smoothly.
At least a Bachelor Degree in from a reputable Public University in Indonesia.
At least 3 - 5 years working experiences in the same industry or related fied.
Proficient in English (spoken and written) and excellent interpersonal skills in Indonesian.
Experience in steel market, steel raw material sales and related fields is preferred, and relevant customer resources are preferred.
Willing to travel domestically or internationally.
Proficient in Microsoft (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
