We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented TikTok / Reels Video Editor who’s passionate about short-form video content and knows how to tell stories that engage, entertain, and convert. You will be responsible for editing vertical videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts that are on-trend, fast-paced, and optimized for virality.
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos (15s–60s) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms.
- Apply trendy transitions, effects, captions, and sound design to enhance content appeal.
- Collaborate with the content team to understand the narrative, messaging, and desired outcomes of each video.
- Stay updated with platform trends, audio memes, viral formats, and algorithm-friendly techniques.
- Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form clips when needed.
- Manage file organization, exports, and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide creative input to elevate content from good to great.
- Proven experience editing TikTok/Reels/Shorts or similar short-form content.
- Proficiency in editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or mobile editing apps).
- Strong understanding of vertical video formats, aspect ratios, and social media algorithms.
- Eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual engagement in under 60 seconds.
- Ability to work with branded content and maintain consistent visual style and tone.
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Bonus: Motion graphics skills or familiarity with tools like After Effects.
