Job summary
A leading Indonesian company is seeking an Assistant Manager for Finance, Accounting & Tax. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, along with a strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and financial standards. This is a permanent position after probation.
Qualifications

The Assistant Manager for Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) is assisting the Head of FAT to manage the company’s financial, accounting, and tax operations. This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations. The role also involves preparing financial statements, coordinating tax filings, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. They play a key role in managing cash flow, improving financial efficiency, and ensuring the organization meets its financial and tax obligations in a timely and effective manner. Control and collect overdue receivables from agents. Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and accounting standards is essential in this position.

- Coordinate tax filings and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage cash flow and strive to improve financial efficiency and controls.
- Ensure the organization meets its financial and tax obligations in a timely and effective manner.
- Control and collect overdue receivables from agents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of work experience as Assistant Manager or Supervisor in finance, accounting, and tax roles, ideally in a sales distribution or similar industry.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and working with financial software systems.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws (including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant tax regulations).
- Familiarity with Indonesian financial reporting standards (PSAK) and knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Good understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g., distributors, auditors, tax authorities).
- Adaptable, collaborative, and team-oriented with a willingness to learn.
