Job summary
A leading management consulting firm in Indonesia is seeking an External Relation Manager for the mining industry. The candidate will be responsible for obtaining necessary permits, developing government relations strategies, and representing the organization at key events. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, possess a PERADI license, and have over 10 years of experience in government relations, particularly in coal or nickel mining. This role requires regular collaboration with various stakeholders and effective advocacy.
Qualifications
- Must have a PERADI license.
- More than 10 years of experience in government relations.
- Experience in coal or nickel mining industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Obtain permits aligned with organizational plans.
- Develop government affairs strategies.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory activities.
- Build relationships with government officials.
- Represent the organization in meetings and events.
Skills
Education
Obtaining permits in accordance with the organization's plans and activities
Develop and execute government affairs strategies to promote our organization's goals and objectives
Monitor legislative and regulatory activities at the local, state, and federal levels, and provide timely updates to direct supervisor
Build and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, and other key influencers to advocate for our organization's interests.
Represent our organization at meetings, hearings, and other relevant events to ensure our voice is heard and our concerns are addressed.
Collaborate with internal teams to analyze the impact of proposed regulations and legislation on our organization, and develop appropriate responses and action plans.
Conduct research and analysis on government policies, initiatives, and trends that may impact our organization.
Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to effectively communicate our organization's positions and priorities to government officials and other stakeholders
Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in government affairs to continuously improve our strategies and approaches.
Manage budgets, resources, and timelines Permit
Must be willing to be placed in Site Office, East Kalimantan with Roster based
- Bachelor's degree in Law major and have PERADI license is a MUST
- More than 10 years of experience in government relation & permit or working with the ESDM & KLHK (preferably experienced in Coal or Nickle mining industry)
- Familiar with Land Acquisition process, coordinating with Stakeholders, Mine Permit, and Preparation of Community Development and Empowerment Program is Mandatory
