We are currently seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our busy Radiology department. We welcome applications from highly motivated enthusiastic Health Care Assistants or Radiology Assistants who are committed to providing excellent customer service. Good communication skills, ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business are essential. The ability to work in a fast paced environment is also required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be flexible with their work patterns. The role will be varied with the successful candidate working closely with the Radiographers to provide a safe and caring environment for our patients. The candidate will be required to work in a mix of rooms from our Ultrasound Suite to our MRI and CT scanning rooms with the Radiographers.

Buckshaw Hospital is the third day case hospital to have been built and opened by Ramsay in the last two years. The new development is located at Matrix Park Buckshaw Village Chorley. It is an extension of services offered by Euxton and Fulwood Hall Ramsay Team at Euxton and Fulwood, providing further capacity to treat patients in and around the local area.

• NVQ level 2 or prepared to train to this level
