Shopfloor Foreman

We are currently recruiting for a Shopfloor Foreman to work out of one of our prestigious clients based in Newcastle under Lyme.

For this Shopfloor Foreman role, you will be responsible for :

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, assisting in the monitoring of workplace safety.
• Deliver Toolbox Talks and support H&S initiatives in collaboration with the Production Foreman.
• Oversee inductions and competency signoffs for new operatives.
• Deliver training on new machinery and processes to existing and new team members.
• Manage new starter induction plans.
• Create and manage employee work schedules.
• Supervise and assign daily tasks to shopfloor operatives.
• Act as the first point of contact for operatives regarding machinery, performance, and attendance issues.
• Operate machinery, including forklifts and CNC machines, as required. As well as tooling and consumables.

For this Shopfloor Foreman role, you will need :

• CNC machine operation experience – essential
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment – desirable
• Forklift Operator’s Licence
• Strong IT and organisational skills
