Job Description:
Electrical Site Supervisor needed (full time, 40 hours per week)
Overview
Manage and supervise trade operatives and sub-contractors, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused service delivery. Support continuous improvement of planned works and maintenance activities.
People Focus
- Communicate effectively with clients, operatives, contractors, and team members.
- Coordinate with site managers and other teams to monitor repair performance.
- Assist in work order allocation and supervise operational staff according to company policies.
- Maintain IT systems (e.g., I-Trent) for recording leave and work activities.
- Build strong relationships within your team and across the wider organization.
Innovation
- Ensure delivery of efficient repairs and maintenance services.
- Implement processes for service improvement.
- Monitor and record performance metrics.
- Verify electrical work certificates and reports, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and company policies.
- Oversee electrical certifications and testing, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Manage work orders effectively, updating statuses daily within the IT systems.
Qualifications and Training
- GCSEs or equivalent in maths and English.
- Recognized electrical apprenticeship and/or trade qualifications.
- Qualified Supervisor role, responsible for electrical safety and standards.
- ECS Gold card and 18th Edition I.E.E Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification.
