Overall Job Description:

The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee the construction activities that take place on the worksite/s and will be involved in the supervision of DCM labor crew, General Contractors, and Subcontractors. The Site Supervisor will report to the Project Manager. All work crews and individuals on site will take their direction from the site supervisor, who is responsible for knowing the project schedule, the individual work packages for each subcontractor/trade (what work must be done) and applying sufficient resources to accomplish that work. The Site Supervisor will also act as the Site Safety Health Officer, ensuring daily huddles are conducted prior to work start, conducting tool box talks and mitigating any safety risks thorough out the course of construction. The Construction Site Supervisor will plan, implement, and oversee construction efforts at specific work sites.

The Site Supervisor must:

· Be punctual, self motivated, a good communicator and problem solver. Must be able to take direction and have a strong work ethic.

· Be a person who will work diligently on behalf of DCM and all established stakeholders, to ensure the success of the project and see that it is delivered on time and within the budget.

· Be proactive and, thereby, prevent mishaps and deficiencies from occurring on-site throughout the project; be assertive and able to take initiative.

· Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to plans and reviews; implement job production, productivity, quality according to DCM standards; resolve problems; identify construction management system improvements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Review the contract construction documents, schedules and all Scope of Work requirements thoroughly.

· Review and meet construction budget by continually monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION

· Create daily reports in Procore including safety talk, photos, resource tracking, work completed and any issues that arise.

· Create three week look-aheads in conjunction with the subcontractors and the PM.

· Ensure job site is clean per DCM standards. Daily clean-up is mandatory on all job-sites; oversee and assist in this activity as needed.

· Conduct daily inspections on job-site and walk-throughs at critical phases; obtaining approvals from the Owner.

· Review time-sheets for DCM crew to confirm accuracy of hours and work performed (job classification). Approve weekly in ADP.

· Receive the punch-list from the DCM QCM/client/3rd party CM and coordinate the successful and timely execution of the items.

· Review all approved submittals. Review and inspect all construction materials delivered or used on-site to ensure compliance with the approved submittals and contract requirements.

CONSTRUCTION SAFETY

· Assist the PM in creating the health and safety plan by identifying hazards associated with the specific project execution. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing DCM and OSHA standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

· Hold daily safety tool box talks onsite – document in daily reports.

Construction Planning and Scheduling: Maintain project and deliverables schedule. Achieve construction results by defining project purpose and scope; consistently maintain the resources required; schedule and coordinate staff and sub-contractors; evaluate milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolve design problems; evaluate and implement change orders. Ensure project proceeds in a timely manner.

· Manage tool and materials inventory for each project. Ensure unused materials are accounted for and reported to the PM.

· Schedule delivery of needed materials and labor requests. This includes dumpsters, toilets, trailers, equipment rentals etc.

· Trouble-shoot and identify construction problems; offer timely and safe solutions.
