Job summary
A facilities management company is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the safety and upkeep of a school site in Liverpool. The role involves health and safety management, overseeing facilities staff, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates should have prior experience in facilities management and be available for immediate start. Flexible working hours may be required.

£16.50 - £17.10 per hour

Temporary to Permanent
To efficiently manage the school site, accommodation, buildings and the surrounds. The appointed person will be responsible for the overall security, as well as all Health and Safety across the school - Ensuring its all compliant and checked etc. You will also be required to manage the other facilities staff.
- Ensure that relevant legislations and good practices within Health and Safety are carried out/checked/observed
- Implement new policies relating to Health and Safety
- Proactively manage the school facilities to ensure the buildings and surroundings are kept to a high standard
- To have operational knowledge of School mechanical systems - Heating, Ventilation, CCTV etc.
- Be responsible for the arrangement of staffing to cover events and events
- Fire safety checks plus other health safety checks such as Gas, Electricity and water
- Plus much more
The working hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 - Some hours may be required to work outside of this to help with events and as required by the business.
Due to the nature of this position being within a school, the appointed person will need to be comfortable with having extensive background checks completed such as an Enhanced DBS, online eLearn's and more.
