Salary: £25,183 to £25,989 (actual £12,593 - £12,995 per annum - Grade 2)
Hours: 18.33 per week
Location: Oldham Lifelong Learning Service, Oldham Council, Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre, The Cultural Quarter, Greaves Street, Oldham OL1 1AL

Role Overview

The Lifelong Learning service delivers Adult learning opportunities to over 2,500 learners. An opportunity has arisen to join the service in providing highly effective business support to the English & Maths Team within the Lifelong Learning Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service and exchange a wide variety of information with a range of audiences.
  • Provide support to the English & Maths Curriculum team including examination entries ensuring these are correct and submitted in a timely fashion.
  • Data entry including checking documents for completeness and accuracy; attention to detail and an ability to work to required standards with little close supervision is essential.
  • Undertake a range of key financial tasks.
Key Requirements
  • Ability to provide high quality business support combined with excellent administration, ICT skills and organisation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient service to colleagues, partners and service users.
  • Have excellent time management skills, be a flexible team player and be able to work at pace with excellent attention to detail.
