Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic for a permanent position in Luton. The role involves performing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on aircraft, particularly the A320 family, adhering to the company's Tooling Policy, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety practices. Candidates must have a recognised apprenticeship and the right to work in the UK. A competitive salary along with a shift allowance is provided.

Education
I am working with a fantastic client in Luton who are looking for an Aircraft Mechanic to join on a permanent basis. As the Aircraft Mechanic you will working with the leading mechanic and certifier on the zone/aircraft as allocated.
- Role: Aircraft Mechanic
- Salary: On Application + Shift Allowance (nights)
- Contract: Permanent, 5,5,4 shift pattern
- Location: Luton
- Employment type: Full time
- Complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures.
- Observe and adhere to the company Tooling Policy at all times.
- Maintain awareness and ensure best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the MOE.
- Ensure that you keep your personal work area and facility clean and tidy at all times.
- Notify the company of any significant findings as soon as possible.
- Hold the right to work in the UK - proof is required.
- Have extensive knowledge of Line Maintenance activities with hands on working experience - This is a must!
- Experience with A320 family
- A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
- Good standard of written/spoken English including the ability to interact at a technical level
- Good computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
