We are looking for a PR/Marketing Specialist to support the expansion of the UNIQLO business in Europe. The person in this role will contribute to the development and execution of the product marketing and PR strategy for UNIQLO EU, including promoting the UNIQLO brand and our LifeWear concept in accordance with the EU marketing plan and the global marketing direction.
This is a fixed-term contract for 24 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
You will be based in our London office and report to the EU Marketing Manager.
What you will be responsible for:
- Building and executing the PR/marketing strategy and seasonal campaign management for UNIQLO EU together with the Marketing Manager.
- Supporting the strategic marketing and PR seasonal plan and long-term branding activations.
- Planning, coordinating, and executing various PR/marketing events (store openings, customer in-store activations, sustainability events, influencer events) in collaboration with European marketing teams and stores.
- Collaborating closely with the Social Media team and supporting them in ideation and shoots.
- Producing weekly/monthly marketing/PR reports, as well as regular campaign and activity performance reports.
- Coordinating and facilitating weekly meetings with team members across the EU and Japan.
- Taking ownership of offline/online media production (OOH, leaflets, print ads, magazines), including leading creative and production agencies.
- Identifying and developing partnerships with stakeholders (local businesses, artists, brands) to support campaigns, RE.UNIQLO STUDIO, and grow brand awareness.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in marketing, PR, in consumer lifestyle or fashion apparel brands, either in-house or agency.
- Experience working with or within international brands.
- Experience across traditional, social, and digital media.
- Experience working with influencers.
- Affinity with sustainability is a plus.
- Experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- Good project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent planning skills, deadline-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong writing and creative skills, with the ability to connect and express brand values effectively.
- Ability to analyze sales data and Google Analytics, and to draw conclusions and write summaries.
- A self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively to achieve goals.
- Digital competence with a good understanding of relevant social media channels.
- Committed to integrity and respectful of others.
- Eager to learn and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.
