The Press Operator is an essential team member responsible for manufacturing printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
- Report safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
- Complete make-ready processes according to the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents, ensuring correct use of print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
- Perform quality checks related to product specifications, visual and functional assessments, and press-side quality checks.
- Operate press to produce products according to customer specifications while maintaining quality, minimizing waste, and optimizing press efficiency.
- Maintain consistent quality during production, including critical checks for copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion, ensuring conformance to all quality standards.
- Follow procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements outlined in the BRC standard.
- Complete press make-ready processes efficiently.
- Perform equipment maintenance duties, including cleaning plates, cylinders, ink pans, and lubricating presses.
- Input material usage and time data accurately into the GlobeTeksystem.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience or training as a printing press operator.
- Physical ability to stand, feel, reach, talk, hear, walk frequently, and occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
