Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking Trainee Print Operators to join a busy team in Corby. Assist in operating high-speed print machinery, ensure production targets, and follow health and safety procedures while working in a fast-paced environment. This position offers £12.50 per hour with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Hours: 4 on, 4 off rotating 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights)
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
About the Role: We are currently recruiting Trainee Print Operators to join our busy and expanding team based in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in the print and packaging industry, with full on-the-job training provided. As a Trainee Print Operator, you will work closely with experienced Extrusion machine operators and supervisors to learn how to operate, maintain, and monitor high-speed print machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Assist with setting up and operating printing machines
- Learn to monitor print quality and make basic adjustments as required
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and shift leaders
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality
- Carry out basic machine maintenance tasks under supervision
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production (advantageous but not essential)
