We are seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join a role focused on Mental Health in Hatfield, within the Education and Training sector. The role is ideal for Psychology or Health and Social Care graduates considering a career in SEN and Mental Health sectors.

Start date: September 2025, for the 2024/2025 academic year. This experience will help you gain insight into the SEN and Mental Health fields.

Responsibilities include observing and supporting children with various learning needs, including Autism and SEMH, within tailored curricula. The role involves working with a range of students, classes of 6-8, focusing on personal, functional, and key skills development.

Details:

• 55 students with varying abilities
• £460-£500 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

• An undergraduate degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, suitable for Criminology and Psychology graduates
• Interest in mental health and Autism
• Understanding of diverse learning and behavioral needs, including SEMH

This role provides foundational experience in challenging environments, emphasizing de-escalation and communication skills.
