Quality Control Analyst II:

Will actively participate in delivering accurate analytical results for internal and external processing of Bulk/Semi Finished Goods/Finished Goods in the Enzyme/Emulsifier plants.

Reports to: Quality Control Supervisor

• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, analytical software relevant to role, SAP, Access Database.
• Perform quality control tests and analyses accurately and troubleshoot analytical equipment.
• Familiarity with Food Safety requirements, GMPs, BRC, FSMA is a plus.
• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field is a plus.
• 3-5+ years in a food industry lab setting is preferred.
• Experience with titration, GCs, viscosities, NIRs is advantageous.
• Apply quality best practices and utilize RCA for deviations.
• Assist QC Supervisor and Manager with priorities and customer complaints.

• Collaborative and respectful communication across departments.
• Self-motivated, independent, innovative, versatile, dependable, patient, and eager to learn.

• 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, rotating weekly as specified.
• Conduct analytical testing adhering to internal/external standards.

• Use of PPE, hazard monitoring, proper waste disposal, and safe handling of chemicals.

• Address high-priority samples, conduct rounds, verify labels, collect raw materials, prepare samples, perform tests, and maintain supplies.
• Support various testing and monitoring activities as detailed.

• Complete cleaning routines, review training, participate in surveillance and inter-lab studies, and undertake tasks as assigned.
