Sales Engineer required for a process engineering company and manufacturer of a wide range of products such as heat exchangers, and various engineering solutions based in the Elland area for the food industry.
This role focuses on managing key accounts by engaging with current customers to maintain service levels and identifying new business opportunities to expand the client base. The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
The role may evolve to meet future operational demands and team dynamics.
Our product range features custom-designed, low-volume items tailored to individual client specifications, unlike standard catalogue products.
Build, expand, and promote relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Manage a portfolio of diverse sales projects involving multiple inquiries.
Optimize profitability through customer satisfaction, emphasizing innovation, quality, and value.
Requirements include a minimum HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering (desirable), 5+ years of engineering sales experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proven success in solution-based sales, a full UK driving licence, and preferably a background in food engineering.
Salary is likely around £50k-£55k, with a car allowance of £5k, pension contributions, healthcare, and death in service benefits. Working hours are 07:30-16:00 Monday-Thursday and 07:30-15:30 on Friday.
