Position: School Mental Health Assistant - SEMH Teaching Assistant

Location: Bath - BA2

Salary: £83 - £95 per day

Contract: Long Term, 5 days a week (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

As a School Mental Health Assistant at a dedicated SEN school in Bath, you'll play a crucial role in supporting children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs, including ADHD, Down syndrome, and communication challenges.

What We're Looking For as a School Mental Health Assistant:

1. Educational Background: A degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred. Previous experience with SEN is highly desirable, particularly for Criminology and Psychology graduates.
2. Passion for Mental Health: A strong interest in mental health, particularly in relation to Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
3. Understanding of SEN: A keen interest or understanding of the diverse learning and behavioural needs within an SEN setting.
4. Local Candidate: Ideally, you should live within a commutable distance to Bath.
