A well-established supplier of building materials in the East Midlands is seeking a Senior Branch Manager. You will have full responsibility for the branch's sales and operations, focusing on expanding the customer base and increasing turnover. The ideal candidate will have strong sales management experience and a hands-on approach to customer relations, complemented by excellent team leadership skills. I have an exclusive assignment with an extremely well established supplier of building materials that offers the successful candidate a chance to develop not only a branch but the Midlands region as a whole. You will have complete responsibility for the Sales, Operations and growth of an already successful branch, as well as being given the remit to grow the region's customer base and profit. The company supply a range of building materials to builders merchants, regional developers and local installers. You will be managing not only the branch team but 1 external sales manager. Together with your team you will be charged with increasing branch turnover and profit, however as this is a very customer facing senior role, you will be required to get in front of customers and develop regional sales. Reporting to the owner of the company this is a key role for the company as they aim to continue their growth.
Established over 40 years ago, they have a cluster of branches throughout the UK. They pride themselves in having excellent staff retention and they are a real people focused business.
I am seeking a sales focused, sales minded senior Branch Manager who not only has the experience in managing a successful branch but has the capability and personality to get in front of customers. I am not looking for an ivory tower manager, you need to be team player who has the ability to pull everyone in the right direction in a structured but personable way. You also have to be based in East or West Midlands or possibility Northamptonshire.
