Overview

Role: External Sales Manager

Location: North of England

Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary 40k to £45k + Performance Related Bonus

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday

Type: Permanent - Office/Field based

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

My client is a leading Lighting Manufacturer, one of the largest in the UK, recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager for the North of England

Responsibilities
  • Growing and increasing sales in the branch's geographical area.
  • Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
  • Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts.
  • The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
  • Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
Essential Regional Sales Manager Skills
  • Electrical Wholesale experience
  • Cold calling on the telephone willingness and tenacity
  • The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company
  • Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
  • The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
  • The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Smartly presented portraying a professional company image
  • A valid UK driving licence
Desirable Regional Sales Manager Skills
  • Punctual, reliable and able to demonstrate effective time management
