We are launching a new company in the healthcare sector with a groundbreaking approach to cancer diagnostics. Our business model focuses on developing microbiome biomarkers for in vitro diagnostic tests, aiming to enable early and accurate cancer detection.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :

We are looking for a visionary and entrepreneurial CEO & Co-founder to lead this exciting Medtech spin-off from a renowned research center into its next phase of growth. Building on our momentum, we aim to establish a globally recognized leader in the healthcare sector.

As CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's strategy, driving operational growth, and ensuring that our vision and objectives align with our mission. The ideal candidate has proven experience scaling healthcare startups internationally, leading high-performance teams, and successfully raising capital. Additionally, expertise in securing partnership agreements and navigating regulatory pathways is essential to drive the company's success in the Medtech sector.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE?

  1. Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the company's vision, strategy, and long-term goals to establish a globally recognized leader in healthcare.
  2. Partnership Development: Establish and negotiate strategic partnerships with key industry players, research institutions, and healthcare providers.
  3. Regulatory & Compliance Strategy: Oversee the regulatory pathway for Medtech products, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
  4. Team Leadership & Culture: Build and lead a high-performing, mission-driven team, fostering a strong company culture.
  5. Commercialization & Market Strategy: Develop go-to-market strategies, ensuring product-market fit and successful adoption in the healthcare sector.
  6. Financial & Operational Oversight: Manage company finances, budgeting, and operational efficiency to ensure sustainable growth.
  7. Fundraising & Investment: Lead fundraising efforts, secure venture capital, and manage investor relations.

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR YOU IF :

  1. Experience in Medtech Startups & Spin-offs: Proven track record in leading startups and/or spin-offs within the Medtech sector, with a passion for transforming cancer diagnostics and improving lives.
  2. Academic Background: Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, or Medicine (PhD highly desirable). An MBA or equivalent degree with a strong foundation in business strategy, finance, and operations is preferred.
  3. Regulatory Expertise: Solid knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, particularly in the Medtech sector.
  4. Fundraising Experience: Demonstrated success in leading funding rounds, securing investments, and managing relationships with venture capitalists and other investors.
  5. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to build and scale a company from the ground up, with a highly agile and results-driven approach.
  6. High-Performance Team Leadership: Experience building and leading high-caliber teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  7. Strategic Vision: Ability to define the company's long-term direction and anticipate market challenges and opportunities.
  8. Communication & Public Speaking: Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively represent the company to investors, partners, and stakeholders.
  9. Work Authorization: You hold a passport or visa that allows you to work in Spain.
