Allianz Spain is looking for highly motivated professionals to join the Data Privacy team. Curious to learn more about it? We are looking to reinforce our team as soon as possible.

The Data Privacy expert provides advice on compliance with existing data privacy processes or policies as well as developing any procedures for the privacy programs. Perform assessments of data privacy impact and security risks within the organization; Implements and tracks execution of risk-based analysis, privacy controls and measures, including regular monitoring of the controls within the organisation and its affiliates or local entities.

• Provide advice on data privacy regulations applicable to IberoLatam countries (including GDPR), Allianz Privacy Standard (APS), Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) and AI ethics.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of data privacy governance management systems.
• Assist business colleagues in understanding and aligning their business needs with privacy requirements.
• Review and negotiate data processing agreements with suppliers or customers to ensure compliance with agreed technical and organizational (security) measures (TOMs).
• Conduct on-site and off-site Vendor monitoring with the focus on compliance with data processing agreements and effective implementation of the agreed TOMs.
• Handle enquiries from data subjects on issues relating to data privacy practices, particularly on the exercise of data subjects’ rights such as withdrawal of consent, the right to be forgotten, and other related rights within One Trust tool.
• Consult on personal data incidents, including advising on data breach notifications, resolutions and remedial actions, where appropriate.
• Prepare the roll out of Allianz Data Privacy Trainings, track the completion rate and support organisation and its affiliates or local entities for issues relating training in order to ensure an adequate level of privacy knowledge and awareness.
• Develop, prepare and roll out Data Privacy awareness campaigns in order to ensure an adequate level of privacy knowledge and awareness.
• Set up and maintain the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) and Data Mapping within the One Trust tool.
• Initiate and perform Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA) within the One Trust tool.
• Support Data Privacy team on the whole control lifecycle: perform the analysis, document the results, draft report documentation after the finalization of the reviews, propose remediation measures and align with stakeholders.
• Monitor and track remediation measures / identified issues.
• Prepare ad hoc or regular data privacy reports to Management.
• When working with one of our Global lines, liaise not only with the local function but also the headquarters, and adhere to their Internal Control System requirements.

• Bachelor‘s degree in law or related disciplines is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roles related to data privacy or related field
• Familiarity with the legal systems of IberoLatam
• Solid understanding and expertise in complex regulatory frameworks / requirements related to Data Protection (Spanish Data Protection Law and the GDPR) and security systems (ISO 27701, ISO 27001, ISO 27002)
• Proficiency and experience with One Trust Tool functionalities
• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to quickly comprehend and process complex relationships in a manner suitable for the intended audience
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders (e.g., business, legal, IT, security…) about data protection and privacy matters
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills
• Proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
• Demonstrate integrity, impartiality, responsibility, and commitment to maintain confidentiality
• Relevant data privacy certifications such as CIPM, CIPP, CIPT, CPDSE or OneTrust Professional
• Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English is essential
