Junior HR Generalist at Savana

The Junior HR Generalist will support the HR team in all aspects of human resources functions. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role offers the opportunity to develop a wide range of HR skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Major Accountabilities where this role is involved:

1. Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and interviews, with a special focus on scientific, medical, and technological profiles.
2. Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and coordinating orientations.
3. Help maintain employee records, ensuring they are up to date and compliant with legal requirements.
4. Assist with performance management processes, including tracking employee reviews.
5. Handle HR inquiries from employees and assist with resolving general HR issues.
6. Support the coordination of employee training and development programs.
7. Assist in implementing and communicating company policies and procedures.
8. Help with employee engagement initiatives and support the creation of a positive workplace culture.
9. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
10. Perform other administrative HR tasks as required.
11. Operate according to Savana’s Security Policies, Procedures and Manuals.
12. Report any suspect of incident or make improvement proposals.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in HR with specific experience in recruiting for scientific, medical, and/or technological profiles.
3. Strong knowledge of HR best practices.
4. Fluent in English and Spanish.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
6. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a customer service-oriented mindset.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
9. Team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.
