The Application Technical Lead is the technical reference within SGS for our Corporate IT applications, ensuring that software development activities are carried out in accordance with SGS standards and best practices in the market.
This role involves reviewing application development activities, ensuring that deliverables adhere to quality, architecture, and security guidelines, and overseeing the overall quality and fitness of the final products.
The person in this role is responsible for providing technical designs, effort estimates, validating third-party estimates, and overseeing the development estimation process, including validating the workload for various development phases. They may also perform development tasks within their area of responsibility.
Using their technical expertise and following market best practices, they will ensure that technical designs meet SGS and market standards, whether developed internally or by third parties, working closely with the SGS enterprise architecture department.
