Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of purchasers with different focus areas.
- Review and optimize supply chain processes for efficiency.
- Develop a supplier strategy, identify and develop new suppliers.
- Identify and realize cost-saving potentials.
- Conduct price negotiations and framework agreements annually.
- Analyze market trends and derive action plans.
- Support and develop your team; standardize processes.
- Monitor KPIs for supplier performance.
- Manage national and international purchasing projects.
- Collaborate on new product projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier goals are met.
- Support suppliers on environmental, social, and governance issues.
Requirements:
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics, or similar; additional training is a plus.
- Extensive experience in purchasing, nationally and internationally.
- Experience in managing national and international teams.
- Expertise in collaboration with suppliers in Asia and Eastern Europe.
- Strong social, team, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Results-oriented, analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of lean management is advantageous.
- Proficient in SAP/CRM and MS Office.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willing to travel.
