About the role

As the Commercial Marketing Director for Business Group Wide Bandgap, IGBT & Modules, you will be responsible for driving and owning customer pricing, negotiations, and capacity allocation—sales.

What you will do
  • Lead the development and performance of a global team of commercial marketing managers.
  • Prepare allocation and pricing scenarios.
  • Establish pricing and allocation strategies in collaboration with Product Group managers.
  • Implement defined pricing and allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate allocation management efforts and serve as an escalation point for internal and external allocation decisions.
  • Manage internal operational processes, e.g., distributor price book management.
  • Own margin and revenue for BG WIM, executing against the Rolling Financial Forecast (RFF).
  • Collaborate with peers across the company, including sales, marketing, and corporate pricing teams.
  • Stakeholders include Product Group managers, Global Sales, Regional BG champions, Global Supply Chain, BG Finance, BG General Manager, corporate pricing committee, and other BG Commercial Marketing leads.
  • Key metrics: margin, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
What you will need
  • Master's degree in business administration or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial marketing or pricing roles.
  • Experience in semiconductors or electronic components is preferred but not essential if you can learn quickly.
  • Agile, fast thinker with high attention to detail.
  • Financially and commercially savvy.
  • Ability to understand cost drivers and challenge Product Management, R&D, Finance, and Operations as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly present proposals and decisions to stakeholders, sales, and customers.
  • Decisive with sound reasoning and the ability to say 'no' when necessary.
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and handling large data sets, with the ability to create effective visualizations.
