Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of purchasers with different focus areas.
2. Review and optimize supply chain processes for efficiency.
3. Develop a supplier strategy, identify and develop new suppliers.
4. Identify and realize cost-saving potentials.
5. Conduct price negotiations and framework agreements annually.
6. Analyze market trends and derive action plans.
7. Support and develop your team; standardize processes.
8. Monitor KPIs for supplier performance.
9. Manage national and international purchasing projects.
10. Collaborate on new product projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier goals are met.
11. Support suppliers on environmental, social, and governance issues.

Requirements:

1. Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics, or similar; additional training is a plus.
2. Extensive experience in purchasing, nationally and internationally.
3. Experience in managing national and international teams.
4. Expertise in collaboration with suppliers in Asia and Eastern Europe.
5. Strong social, team, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Results-oriented, analytical thinking.
7. Knowledge of lean management is advantageous.
8. Proficient in SAP/CRM and MS Office.
9. Fluent in German and English.
10. Willing to travel.
