Supply Chain Consultant - 12 months contract - Remote -Pharma

We are seeking a Supply Chain Consultant with deep expertise in upstream material planning to support our global pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role is vital to ensuring the continuous availability of raw materials and intermediates, maintaining inventory health, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end upstream supply chain planning processes for raw materials and intermediates.
• Ensure materials meet correct specifications, quantity, and quality requirements.
• Monitor and mitigate risks related to material shortages, delays, or compliance issues.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, QA/QC, and global supply chain teams.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels in alignment with demand forecasts and manufacturing schedules.
• Track and report on inventory KPIs, including turns, days on hand, and obsolescence.
• Use data-driven insights to improve planning accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of supply planning best practices.
• Act as subject matter expert for supply chain planning within the pharmaceutical regulatory environment.
