Social Media Manager-Jobs in Deutschland

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Content Executive to join our Emmy Award-winning team, working alongside one of our partners, a leading global streaming service.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering social media content on this key account with the help of a team of integrated producers, content managers, editors, and designers. Reporting to the Social Content Director.

This role requires a passion for pop and internet culture, with a focus on community management, short-form vertical videos, and ideation for content including a strong affinity with the creator landscape.

The position is part remote and part based in our Berlin office, Germany, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing the social media presence for our client to grow reach and engagement, with excellent creative and strategic input.
• Supporting content calendar creation and management for organic assets, including copywriting with team oversight, and collaborating with social designers for asset creation and client reviews.
• Assisting with community management, creative brainstorming, social copywriting, scriptwriting, and reporting—activities overseen and approved by the project lead.
• Supporting social coverage for live events, marketing, and junket shoots, including briefing and managing high-profile entertainment talent with guidance from Senior Social Content Managers.
• Staying updated with new social media trends, behaviors, and platform updates.
• Working with production and client teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects, including following internal processes like timing plans, content calendars, and reports.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and German.
• German copywriting skills for social media.
• Passionate about social media, entertainment, and pop culture.
• At least 1 year of experience creating social media content, including static assets, short and long-form videos (Reels, TikTok, scripted videos), GIFs, and memes.
• Experience building online communities, especially for brands, with an understanding of fandom communities.
• Experience covering live events and working in the entertainment industry.
• Experience in creative agencies is a plus.
