YOU...

• provide support for simulation and test tool suites required for the validation and verification of Helicopter developments, mainly in the field of avionics used
• are a focal point for users of the test systems used and are responsible for the availability and stability of the test tool used landscape to achieve high customer satisfaction
• work in a young, quality and standard-oriented team and will also work with subcontractors who support the maintenance of the operational tools
• are responsible for the availability of the test systems and the monitoring of availability and services
• provide proactive resolution of detected errors and investigate the root causes and coordination of test systems support activities for avionics development
• ensure that the correct diagnosis is made on avionics systems, test tools, including hardware and software, IT infrastructure and methods and processes to ensure a high availability rate of test equipment by applying a methodical systems approach
• are responsible for the elicitation of requirements, specification of functional requirements and for the validation of the tool suite in its operational environment
• develop smaller tools for support activities in the area of maintenance and are responsible for the installations of new tool suites
• are responsible for the management of the diagnosis and solution of problems in the field of test systems for avionics
• monitor the test systems used (hardware and software) and ensure the implementation of the measures
• work with IT to ensure proper IT support, cooperate with the development team in Marignane (France) to represent the requirements of Donauwörth
• are responsible for the development, integration, maintenance and support of test scenarios in the test system for end users
• support from a back office for development in Marignane/Donauwörth and are responsible for continuous improvement of test systems and processes to enable end users to increase their efficiency

YOU...

• have a Degree in the field of engineering, aerospace technology, avionics or comparable
• have relevant work experience in engineering and first experience in project management
• are ideally experienced with support
• have knowledge of simulations, software tools and avionics
• are confident in handling of Windows and UNIX/Linux as well as MS Office
• have knowledge in programming languages, including Python and C, C++
• have a strong customer and service orientation
• have a very precise way of working and ability to comply with standards
• have a keen interest in continuous improvement
• have experience in international cooperation and the will for travelling
• have fluent German and English skills and ideally French skills
