In 2025, the world will come to the Rhine and Ruhr region to celebrate sport, science, and culture. Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days in 18 different sports. Standards are set here — where the densest university landscape in Europe meets the most sports clubs in Germany, in one exceptionally sport-loving region.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Call Center Agent (m/f/d) at the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) on a temporary contract until late summer 2025. The position is located in Essen. As a Call Center Agent, you will mainly handle inbound and outbound communications with clients, address inquiries, resolve and report issues efficiently, and provide accurate information about services. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience and maintaining the organization’s reputation through professional and courteous interactions.

• Managing inbound and outbound calls from the venues
• Registering issues communicated by clients into the ticketing/ITSM tool and redirecting them to the relevant VTM or TOC team
• Managing the incident management tool
• Resetting Microsoft account passwords through the Microsoft 365 portal
• Collaborating with other agents or departments to escalate or resolve various issues

• An academic degree in technology or a comparable qualification
• Clear communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Problem-solving abilities
• Basic technical skills
