BIG Alta Vista is seeking experienced Insurance Sales Brokers who are sales driven, have a strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This role requires a relationship-oriented individual with strong organizational, analytical, time-management, sales, and prospecting skills. You will need to be comfortable working with technology in a fully digital environment. This is a Commission Only position.

Must have:

• RIBO license; or OTL license and willing to convert
• 3+ years’ experience in Insurance sales with a proven track record.
• Experience prospecting leads and / or have a strong network to leverage.
• Personal Lines Insurance Knowledge is essential.
• Degree in any discipline from a Canadian University or Insurance Diploma / Certificate from a recognized Canadian College.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and superior interpersonal skills in English.

Nice-to-have:

• CAIB, CIP, FCIP or similar professional designations are an asset.
• LLQP license is an asset.
• Commercial Lines knowledge is an asset.
• Fluency in other languages is an asset.

• Generate your own insurance sales leads.
• Manage leads and provide quotes to prospective clients in a timely manner.
• Review policies and recommended coverages based on the client’s needs.
• Implement effective strategies to generate leads, follow-up and close the deal.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the first point of contact.
• Prioritize building a quality book of business to ensure client loyalty and maintain good retention ratios.
• Comply with market underwriting guidelines as well as company policies and standards.
• Ensure appropriate forms and other policy requirements are completed.
• Coordinate and follow up on client documents and payments.
• Consistently achieve monthly sales targets and comply with business quality targets.
