We are looking to fill a permanent position of Inside Sales at our Richelieu Hardware Canada Ltd., Burnside, Dartmouth location.

Position Overview :

As an Inside Sales Representative you are an essential part of the Richelieu team! You are a main point of contact for our customer, whether it be on the phone or at our service counter. You will both closely with our inside and outside sales teams daily. You’ll know all about what we sell, know what we have on hand, and go the extra mile to get what we don’t have in stock. You’ll take their order accurately and help them get on their way. So, if you have experience, self motivated, dedicated to a career in the hardware industry, and enjoy being busy, friendly, and efficient, then maybe this is the perfect job for you

More specifically, your main tasks will be :

  • Promoting & Selling value added products and services
  • Answer customer inquiries at our service counter in person or by phone
  • Taking orders and relaying information to customers
  • Monitor and advise customers of product information, availability, and delivery status
  • Participate in basic accounts receivable tasks, including credit check and collection calls
  • General administrative duties in a computerized environment

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Degree in … (any combination of training and / or experience judged to be equivalent will be considered);
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Bilingual (an asset)

Qualifications :

  • Self motivated & great at multi-tasking
  • Proven experience in Sales or customer service environment.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Good aptitude in analyzing issues and proposing solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to create business relationship.
