A leading litigation firm in downtown Vancouver is seeking a lawyer with 4 to 6 years of experience to handle intermediate to high-complexity ICBC defence files. The ideal candidate will have trial experience and strong skills in courtroom advocacy and legal analysis. The position offers superior compensation and a collaborative work environment that encourages career growth.
Pacific Law Group is an established litigation firm with an excellent reputation for its exceptional client service, collegial work environment, and many noteworthy successes in both the B.C.S.C. and the B.C.C.A. We handle many complex litigation files and frequently appear in court. We are in modern premises in the centre of downtown Vancouver and within one block of the Law Courts. We are very proud of our work environment which encourages team and social interaction, while we excel in our careers.
Due to an increased volume of client files, we are seeking a lawyer to assist our lawyers and clients mainly on intermediate-complexity to higher-complexity ICBC defence files, and to handle additional cases independently. We will consider intermediate level lawyers of 4 to 6 years of call. Applicants should have trial experience and a desire to manage an interesting practice involving challenging and complex cases. Preference will be given to those with superior skills in courtroom advocacy, legal analysis, file management, and oral and written communication.
The majority of the files will be the defense of insurance claims, so personal injury or insurance law experience is an asset. Consideration will also be given to those with plaintiff-side or criminal law experience, and to those with an existing partial practice.
The position is ideal for someone who works well independently, is a team player, and desires to excel in his or her legal career.
Superior compensation and benefit arrangements are offered to the successful candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
