As Discord’s first Director of Partner Marketing, you’ll build and lead the partner marketing function from scratch. You’ll be responsible for defining strategy, forging key relationships, and delivering go-to-market campaigns that expand Discord’s reach, particularly in gaming and related verticals. This is a player-coach role — strategic and hands-on — perfect for someone entrepreneurial and deeply familiar with the gaming ecosystem.
- Build the Function: Establish frameworks, processes, and best practices for partner marketing.
- Develop Partnerships: Identify and secure strategic co-marketing relationships (publishers, platforms, tech brands).
- Go-To-Market Leadership: Create and execute GTM strategies that align with Discord’s brand and business goals.
- Relationship Management: Be the main liaison between Discord and partner marketing teams.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee campaign rollout, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Performance Measurement: Define KPIs and report results; optimize based on insights.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Product Marketing, Creative, PR, Sales, Community.
- Industry Awareness: Monitor trends and maintain deep knowledge of the gaming landscape.
