The OpenTable Diner Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist to unlock impactful, data-driven marketing campaigns that reach millions of diners. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you will support the creation of audiences across all marketing channels (email, mobile push, SMS, in-app messaging, paid social, PPC) and partner with strategic stakeholders to ensure that the right communications reach each diner at the perfect moment in their customer journey.
You will be working primarily with the Engagement Marketing team to build and automate audiences for email/push/SMS/in-app messaging campaigns, ensure efficient workflows and data quality, assist with channel performance reporting, and derive insights from our data to help us better understand our diners.
In this role, you will:
Create and manage audiences across our marketing channels (email, mobile push, SMS, in-app messaging, paid social, PPC) within our email service provider MessageGears and in Snowflake
Partner with the marketing strategic collaborators to define audience targeting requirements and provide recommendations based on business needs
Become a power user of MessageGears and empower our team of marketing specialists to deliver targeted and dynamic campaigns by creating self-service capabilities within the platform
Troubleshoot audience, data, and platform-related issues
Partner closely with the data engineering team to identify and create new data sets that will enhance our marketing campaigns
Develop and optimize processes surrounding the audience creation workflow, ensuring efficiency and scalability through automation while maintaining a high level of quality
Partner with the analytics team to maintain the email and push channel performance dashboards
Own the management of weekly and monthly engagement marketing channel reports that go out to cross-functional leadership
Analyze diner data to uncover trends and behaviors, using these insights to continuously improve our segmentation and identify new audiences

3-5 years of experience working in a marketing operations role
Intermediate proficiency with SQL
Experience working in B2C marketing technology tools, including marketing automation platforms and/or customer data platforms (previous experience with MessageGears is a plus)
Experience working in Snowflake or other relational databases
Proactive learner and problem solver
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate with both business and technical partners
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools
Familiarity with template languages like Apache Freemarker is a plus

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Canada located role is $90,000 - 95,000 CAD.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
