Our Calgary-based client is looking for a Legal Assistant to provide support to a team of tax lawyers whose practice focuses on Corporate tax with a component of Corporate Commercial.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, prepare, and compile various types of correspondence, documentation, forms, as dictated or prepared in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Open and close files.
  • Prepare expense reports, docket entries, client accounts, e-billing, A/R status, and collection.
  • Maintain lawyer calendars.
  • Other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Legal Assistant Diploma from an accredited college
  • Three to five years of Legal assistant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
