This course is a continuation of ENGL 100 that develops student proficiency in critical reading and writing through the study of a wide range of non‑literary and literary texts, and the study of composition, with emphasis on connections between modes of reading and writing.

• For courses in the Literature Stream, applicants must hold an M.A. or higher degree in English, or an M.F.A. or higher degree in Creative Writing.
• Existing sessional instructors may use previously uploaded documents and do not have to provide new references and transcripts with each application.
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and the work must be performed within Canada.

Deliver remote (synchronous) instruction for the course from January 6 – April 29, 2026.

• Experience teaching similar courses in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., student evaluations, syllabi, letters of evaluation) demonstrating the ability to develop critical reading and writing skills.

Faculty Sessional salary range as per URFA Collective Agreement. Status: Term, full‑time/part‑time as required.
