As a Jr. Content Writer, you’ll help power Trend Hunter’s daily trend coverage by editing and refining a steady stream of short-form trend content, plus occasional listicles and email interviews.

We use modern editorial tools as part of a human-led, AI-assisted workflow. Your job is to ensure every piece meets our standards for clarity, accuracy, relevance, and a consistent Trend Hunter voice. This role is goal-driven and fast-paced, so strong execution and reliability matter.

• Edit and finalize Microtrends: Edit and finalize Microtrends (short, trend-focused articles), sharpening clarity and voice, verifying key details, and rejecting anything off-brand.
• Develop eco-focused coverage: Turn emerging eco and sustainability innovations into concise, well-researched trend pieces.
• Research client-focused “expertise requests”: Investigate and write about niche areas clients care about and identify the most cutting-edge and emerging products, services, and innovations to cover quickly.
• Conduct light outreach as needed: Complete email interviews and handle editorial requests on an as-needed basis.
• Stay current and move fast: Track new innovations as they happen and publish quickly; timeliness is a key part of success in this role.
• Learn from Insights leadership: Working under the VP of Insights, you’ll build a stronger understanding of consumer insights, emerging patterns, and cross-industry trends.

• Strong writing instincts and voice: You can write clearly, cut through noise, and make short-form content engaging and specific.
• High-output consistency: You’re comfortable with repeatable workflows and can hit production targets while maintaining quality.
• Detail-oriented editing skills: You can spot vague language, fix awkward phrasing, correct inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy before publishing.
• Research ability: You’re resourceful and quick, able to find credible sources and identify what’s truly new versus recycled.
• Self-starter mindset: You can work autonomously, manage priorities, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment.
• Adaptability: You’re open to change as tools, workflows, and performance targets evolve.
