Position

Job title: Google Ads Specialist

Employment Type: This is a part time position, consisting of at least 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day M-F, anytime during U.S. Eastern Time zone working hours (8:30-5:30). This allows for some flexibility in schedule but will require availability on the EST time zone.

This position is anticipated to start as a part time role with the goal to expand responsibilities into a full-time role over time.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Google (and any other Paid) Ads Specialist to strengthen CKH Group’s digital presence and lead generation efforts. This individual will be a key contributor to our paid media strategy, with a strong focus on Google Ads, and performance tracking through Google analytics/search console, and other paid media or related campaigns such as Linkedin Ads, SEO, and general social media management.

The ideal candidate is analytical, performance-driven, and highly experienced in executing digital ad campaigns that support business growth for a professional services brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (specifically google ads) end-to-end to meet company goals and objectives, including quality lead generation and brand awareness
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and create ad groups, campaigns, and ad copy to improve campaign performance.
  • Use bid management, A/B testing, and budget management tools to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
  • Use analytics tools to track and report on campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
  • Proactively research and identify improvement strategies for underperforming campaigns, and execute on them.
  • Explain and articulate to teams and leadership the aspects of paid advertising, performance metrics, and success of campaigns
  • Collaborate with other teams to increase opportunities
Other Supporting Areas

While your primary focus at all times will be paid advertising, an ideal candidate should be able to work closely with the Head of Marketing to help support the head of marketing with other areas of marketing as needed. These may include:

  • SEM/SEO
  • Email marketing
  • Social Media management including strategy, scheduling, and/or captioning posts
  • Content marketing through development of articles, blogs, or podcasts
  • Support or management of marketing related events, tradeshows, webinars, or workshops
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 of them focused on paid ads management, particularly google ads
  • A proven record of generating leads within the US market
  • Proficient with tools such as Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and preferably other marketing tools such as Canva, social media platforms, MailChimp, etc.
  • English Fluency – confident in both written and verbal (as this will be needed for google ad copy)
  • Ability to work independently with initiative while collaborating with a global team
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Marketing experience in a financial, accounting, or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of PPC strategies and lead funnel optimization
  • SEO/Local SEO strategies, schema markup, and/or web development or design
  • Experience with various marketing channels such as event marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing.
  • Basic design or content creation skills (Canva/Adobe Suite)
