Job summary
A commercial cleaning solutions company in Gauteng is seeking an experienced account manager. The role focuses on promoting and selling products to the hospitality industry, managing key accounts, and ensuring customer retention. Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years of experience in key account management and the ability to develop tailored hygiene solutions for clients.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of proven experience in key account management within commercial cleaning solutions.
- Proven track record of managing large key accounts.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.

- Account management aimed at promoting and selling cleaning products.
- Onboard new customers and drive sales.
- Ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
Skills
Education
Account management aimed at promoting and selling commercial cleaning products and solutions to the hospitality industry, onboarding new customers, driving sales, and ensuring customer retention.
- Matric (post-matric qualification in sales is advantageous)
- 5-7 years of proven experience in key account management within commercial cleaning/hygiene solutions, preferably within hospitality
- Proven track record of managing large key accounts
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
- Sales, new business development and key account management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients
- Drive strategic upselling/cross-selling of cleaning and hygiene solutions
- Develop customised hygiene solutions tailored to the client's specific needs and challenges
- Collaborate with internal operations/technical teams to deliver customised hygiene solutions
- Analyse client trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices
